KENTISH TOWN EXTENSION WORK
Designed by AAB Architects this was an innovative adaptation of a Victorian terrace encompassing a new extension, roof terrace and bathroom in the upper floor. Starting with the demolition of the existing rear extension the new structure was built of steel, with sensitivity to the party wall of the neighbouring church, sliding doors of Douglas Fir were installed at the back of the structure providing access to the garden at the rear. A new staircase of Iroko was installed to provide access to the main house and the new terrace/bathroom area. The new kitchen installed in the extension was finished using steel framed units, formica splash backs and marmoleum flooring. |
