PIMLICO, RENOVATION & GARDEN REMODELLING
Occupying us in the early part of 2009 this is one of a number of buildings we have adapted in Pimlico in recent years. The clients approached Gus Alexander Architects to design an expanded and renovated maisonette; this required us to underpin sections of the back wall to accommodate the additional load of a mansard roof built on the existing flat roof. A visually interesting, low maintenance garden was of paramount importance, this involved the laying of a patchwork of paving and railway sleepers as designed by Sarah Morgan. |
